What Makes Great Teaching?

 Throughout this course we have learned the importance of teaching and the downsides that education has. With these modules that we have completed, it has given me a new perspective of how we should teach our students. Meaning that even changing the smallest things can make a huge impact. What makes teaching great to me is being able to teach these students and to help them grow in life. One of the most important goals for me as a future educator would be that i was able to make a positive impact in each of my students lives. With the resources i have learned i am confident to be able to teach my future students, and with these strategies many have stood out to me. Here are my 5 top lists that have stood out to me.

-Blogging with Educators: Throughout the semester we have been able to blog reflecting what we have learned and being able to share our input and feelings regarding that lesson. I feel that this strategy has helped me in a way where i was able to communicate with my peers and be able to get their input that i know will help me in the future as an educator. 

- Selecting Golden Lines: Being able to select lines and choosing statements that stood out to me. This helped me a lot with choosing certain lines and connecting them with my own personal life. 

- Do's and Don'ts: Dos and Donts involving what to do and what not to do while teaching as a future educator. Being able to write down certain things to say and what not to say during certain situations and helped me better prepare for the future. 

-Word it out: word it word with picking the words that stood out to me and putting them in a word cloud. i feel like this was important to me, because it made me see the bigger picture on how important each of these words where.  

- Having Connections with Empathy: With being a teacher we have to show empathy with kindness towards our students. I feel that this is an important way to communicate and get to know our students. We want to be able to help and be there for them.
